Can't see wav files on SD but can see folders and txt files

Trying to read data from an SD card, the card is recognised and mounts correctly but I’m unable to see .wav files that have been saved in a folder on the card. The folder is visible, as are some small .txt files, just not the .wav files. The files are visible when viewed on a Windows laptop.

I’ve tried using different card readers, file managers (Thunar and Files), rebooting with different kernels etc., no joy. This haven’t always been a problem - it used to work fine. Please help!

What is the path?

Does their name start with a “.” by any chance? If so, then they are hidden files, and then you must explicitly enable that in your file manager.

Thanks for this, unfortunately that’s not the issue!
