Strange search/activities bug

Disable all of your gnome extensions ( Logout/ log back in )and see if the problem persists.

If it solves the issue, then, enable the extensions one by one , and see which extension is causing the problem.

Thank you for your reply. I finally found out what causes the issue. As you said checked my shell extensions and when I disable dash-to-dock the problem solved. Installed git version from AUR. It seems its working right now.

TL;DR: Dash-to-dock (repository version) causes the problem.
