Ive read trough several similar issues but nothing seems to work. I tried purging the cache and repopulating with new keys but nothing works

I had this issue this morning and I used sudo pacman-mirrors --country Global --interactive, selected both mirrors, and then ran sudo pacman -Syy, and then updating worked as usual.

If you do that, does updating work?

After trying the first command i ran sudo pacman -Syy and it gave me this error:

error: GPGME error: No data
error: GPGME error: No data
error: GPGME error: No data
error: GPGME error: No data
error: failed to synchronize all databases (invalid or corrupted database (PGP signature))

please search before asking.

It has been discussed frequently lately - and although I cannot be sure - I suspect it is an issue created by using the CDN redirection service.

Test by avoiding the CDN mirror mirrors.manjaro.org - then see if the issue goes away.

Why avoid the CDN mirror? It was touted on Twitter by the official Manjaro account as being awesome a couple months ago, and I’ve switched to it and enjoyed its speed and reliability ever since.

Here’s one of the Twitter posts I saw: https://twitter.com/ManjaroLinux/status/1398397356136144898?s=20

It is a suggestion - as the issues with gpgme error messages has started raining since the CDN mirror service has been deployed - so as I said - it is a suspicion - not hard evident.
