Can't install Manjaro x64 on HP Pavilion DV6-6b03ss

Hello everyone. I’m a newbie, so, in first place, sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong category.

A few months ago, I bought a second-hand HP Pavilion DV6-6b003ss. I had been using it with Ubuntu. One day, I tried to try a new distro in my desktop, and my first thought was Manjaro KDE, as I already knew it. I fell in love with it, so I wanted to also install it on the laptop. I tried flashing like 4 different install ISOs thinking they could be corrupted, also tried with 3 USB drives, with no success. It apparently hangs up showing a text: “GRUB”. I guess that means that it can’t even get to work the bootloader, and I’m desperate. Any other OS will work, unless Windows (the dedicated graphics card is dead).

I’d be so thankful if someone could help me out. Thank you all in advance.

so disabling secure boot and fastboot
enabling AHCI
using Ventoy to flash your iso on usb
booting in efi mode if youre using efi, or bios mode if youre using bios
selecting free drivers in boot menu

Hello, brahma. Thanks for your response. I tried everything you are saying, in fact, Ventoy actually has the same problem as Manjaro, only in this laptop. It does nothing at all, but show “GRUB” at the top left corner of the screen.
