Can't install manjaro, rtl8812 network card not recognized

Hello, I’m trying to install the latest Manjaro version on a computer that only has a Realtek 8812 wifi card, the installation ISO I’ve downloaded does not recognize the card and I couldn’t complete the installation as I can’t connect it to the internet

Is there any way I can get the network card recognized during the installation process?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think the easiest way is to use USB tethering from your Android phone - if you have one, and download the necessary driver.

Well, it depends.

If you need to use this driver: rtl8812au, then it is only possible with a dkms module, which needs to be installed before booting the kernel. Therefore you need to create your own ISO for this and include the dkms.

If you need this driver: rtl8812ae, then it is included in the kernel by default.

Hmm, the chipset does not seem to be neither of the variants you mentioned; 'lsusb -v ’ detects the card as:

Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL88x2bu [AC1200 Techkey]

Please post this output:

inxi -Nazy

‘inxi -Nazy’ does not show anything

Not helpful :wink: Error?

Mine looks like this:

$ inxi -Nazy
