Can't copy images from Chromium and paste them elsewhere

Since the latest update of Chromium I can’t copy any image and paste it to any other application. The feature worked previously and I just tried it on new Firefox - it also works.

Chromium update 84.0.4147.135-1 -> 85.0.4183.83-1

This issue caused crashing some of my applications after I repeatedly tried to paste the image without any success.

apparently an issue with unsecure (non-https) content. you can only copy into clipboard images served via HTTPS.

Not really, since I tried to use the images from a website that uses HTTPS for all the images.

nope i take it back. i’m having trouble saying what it is, some images do copy while others dont from the same unsecured web server. :man_shrugging:t4:
