I was hoping I could find a faster kernel for my Pentium G3220 which is running on HDD. I’m already using a zen2 kernel from aur on my archlinux pc, so I thought I’d give it a try on my other (this) pc running manjaro.
I tried the prebuilt binaries of AUR (en) - linux-nitrous which seems to be compiled for haswell and up. But it’s not passing grub. It just shows a blank screen for 2-3 secs and then returns to grub. No errors and such.
Do I need to do some extra config for it to be able to work with manjaro?
Double check the grub boot entry for your kernel and compare it with your Arch install.
