Problem with the unstable update. Jack2 and pipewire-jack are in conflict

Hey you all, once again, I am back. :facepunch: I am currently trying to update my system, and I am doing the regular sudo pacman -Syu
and this is the result:

:: Synchronizing package databases...
 core is up to date
 extra is up to date
 community is up to date
 multilib is up to date
:: Starting full system upgrade...
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)
:: jack2 and pipewire-jack are in conflict

As you can see jack2 and pipewire-jack are in conflict. :sob:

What can I do, this is the first time that I run into this problem. As you can tell, this is not going to allow the upgrade to be done. Anything can help. My Inxi info is below.

Thank you. :smiley:

Was facing the same issue. The ยจ solution ยจ was posted on a previous topic of the stable update.
Run this command on the CLI:

sudo pacman -S pipewire-jack

At least for me, that did it , and I was able to update without further issues.

pamac info pipewire-jack confirms that the latest version of pipewire-jack conflicts with jack2

So one of these packages (or both if you are not using them) must be removed to allow system update

But if jack2 is to be removed, I would suggest checking pamac info jack2 to see if any installed packages require jack2
