Hello! I’m on windows and it’s giving me an error saying that it does not support iso mode, where I’m trying to write in iso mode, and if I write in dd image mode, it’ll only make a 4mb partition and it’s not manjaro
the 4mb partition is normal,
you can see here,i was also concerned about it:
i preferred using Etcher over the other iso writers.
Thanks! I used all the flashing programs out there to see if it was Rufus not working
A default Windows installation cannot read Linux filesystems.
Manjaro ISO is ext4 and the 4M partition is the EFI partition which by EFI standard is FAT32.
So what you see after using dd mode in Rufus is actually a successful write of the image to the media.
