Cannot connect to LAN/Wifi after system wakes from suspended state

After system locks, or sleeps and when it wakes up, it cannot connect to Ethernet, Wifi or any network.
So I have to reboot the system everytime it is suspended to connect to internet. Please help. Thank You.

Hi @alan5420,

In order for us, or anyone for that matter, to be able to provide assistance, more information is necessary. To that end, please see:

Hope you manage!

Tip:

To provide terminal output, copy the text you wish to share, and paste it here, surrounded by three (3) backticks, a.k.a grave accents. Like this:

```
pasted text
```

This will just cause it to be rendered like this:

Portaest sed
elementum
cursus nisl nisi
hendrerit ac quis
sit
adipiscing
tortor sit leo commodo.

Instead of like this:

Portaest sed elementum cursus nisl nisi hendrerit ac quis sit adipiscing tortor sit leo commodo.

Thereby improving legibility and making it much easier for those trying to be of assistance.

Please edit your post accordingly.

Hy can you please tell the further steps now?

Well, to be perfectly honest, I don’t really know. So I’m going to take a wild guess:

How did you install the driver? Because there is a *-dkms one in the AUR. Which might be different, or it might not be:

$ pamac search r8168
[...]
r8168-dkms                                                                                                                                                                                                                            8.050.03-4  AUR
A kernel module for Realtek 8168 network cards (DKMS version)
[...]

So install it and see if it makes a difference:

pamac build r8168-dkms

Followed by rebooting.

Once again, I don’t know if it’ll work or not, but It might be worth a shot to try and find out.
