Hi, ever since the last big update to plasma 5.25.5, every time I try and add a widget or access the widget page on the dashboard the desktop crashes and restarts. I have reinstalled the manjaro-kde-settings package, cleaned out and rebuilt the cache but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The appearance of 5.25 in stable has happened after community pressure to release it.
Plasma 5.25 is expected to make some noise - unfortunately.
I suggest you remove all customisation, AUR packages relating to Plasma and widgets.
Then reapply the default global theme including desktop settings.

I see that. Yes, new and shiny isn’t necessarily a step ahead. Anyway, I did as you suggested and everything is happy again. Thank you for your reply.
