I must have done something wrong.
After 6 months of not using my computer, I updated it with pamac update. After the update went through (without errors) I also ran flatpak update. Huge amounts of data were downloaded and installed. Both commands completed successfully.
As I also wanted to update to the latest kernel, I ran sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux67 '''rmc'''. There were no errors with the kernel replacement either.
However, after rebooting I was prompted with:
Error: file '/boot/intel-ucode.img' not found.

I have to admit that I don’t know what this error message means exactly. But I have a 100% AMD system (CPU and GPU) which might be of interest since the error mentions Intel.
I can boot with the fallback initramfs and everything seems fine. However, I can not boot with the normal linux67 kernel.
I installed linux66 = same problem.
I have tried sudo mkinitcpio -p linux66 and sudo mkinitcpio -p linux67 for and sudo mkinitcpio -p linux67 - without success.
I have booted from a USB stick, ran sudo manjaro-chroot -a, ran sudo pacman -Syu, all to no avail.
Can any of you experienced Linux users maybe give me a tip on what else I could try?
