I just use pacman to maintain packages from standard repos and I maintain AUR packages manually. I don’t see a reason to have pamac installed. Can I uninstall it? Will it cause any problems?
Yes
Depends, but in general no…

Do you really need the 1.2 MiB of storage capacity you’ll recuperate by uninstalling it?
Just one thing, though. I see you’re using Plasma, so if you’re going to uninstall Pamac, then don’t uninstall pamac-tray-icon-plasma
, unless you’re using the octopi-notifier-frameworks
package or some other means for staying apprised of system updates.

You’re right, actually. I thought pamac would be a larger application. I just disabled the system tray widget because I didn’t realise that was the only thing annoying me
we can have more (archlinux-appstream-data = 20Mo) but yes it’s light
pactree pamac-gtk -d1 -l
pamac-gtk
pamac-cli
libpamac
libsoup
gtk3
libhandy
archlinux-appstream-data
desktop-file-utils
libnotify
LANG=C pacman -Qi $(pactree pamac-gtk -d1 -l) | grep ^Installed
