#2

This is a "too specialized" Calamares issue.
IMHO you should get better/faster feedback if you post at Manjaro Gitlab or Calamares Github.

#3

@philm
calamares and calamares-git needs to be rebuilt.

i rebuilt calamares using calamares-git pkg build and its working now.
i think its because of kpmcore update.

Manjaro-specific packages which need an update
#4

Please use unstable branch, were we had fixed it.

#5

Another Calamares bug, since the last update, is that most of the flags are missing in the manual partition tab including esp. The installer complains that this has not been selected on the boot/efi partition, while not realising it is not there to be ticked. If you set the flags in gparted when calamares formats the fat32 partition it is also removing the flags.

#6

just ignore that without the esp flag with only boot flag it boots

#7

Cinnamon does not like that and refuses to start.

#8

after install do not reboot
or after install in live env.
in partitionmanager/gparted set the boot flag again to fat32 partition.
it will boot.
edit: boot is not garranty even after setting boot flag on fat32 partition.

but yes its a bug it needs attention

this does not happen with erase entire disk

edit:erase entire disk also does not have esp flag.
but after install system boots.

and in partition manager also there is no esp flag so its likely an kpmcore bug.
