Cairo dock weather widget not working

I’m having trouble with getting the weather widget on Cairo to work… am I missing a plugin or something? I get the error ‘Could not retrieve information. Is your connection alive?’ no matter what location I try.

Can someone please help me fix this?

Looks like the weather service the applet was fetching its data from stopped working or changed the API. 15 days ago the problem has been fixed: Weather applet: · Cairo-Dock/cairo-dock-plug-ins@8134bac · GitHub

But they didn’t release a new version yet. If you want to get the fix, install the -git version from the AUR.
