i can not change that as everything is still greyed out
Is Cadence always greyed out on your system ? even if task manager is showing jackdbus is started ?
if jack_control status
is able to see that JACK is started or stopped, I suggest you try using this command:
jack_control exit
If that command works, try changing the JACK selected driver to ALSA and check engine paramaters again
jack_control ds alsa ep
If jack_control commands do not help to clear whatever is blocking Cadence It might be possible to use QjackCtl to stop JACK and reconfigure the driver from Dummy to ALSA
well after doing that a jack.conf finally appear in the folder here is what it says(had to place in separate text as the formatting kept making it disappear when shown, i have also placed the cadence logs there)
though it is still showing the same dialog and greyed out.

though my intel motherboard have 2 device the hw intel hda and alc262 and i do not know which i select
