Bumblebee driver not working

Bus ID is there. You need to use

BusID "PCI:3:0:0"

@abel @JohnCa What I also find interesting is that in inxi shows that the Xorg server is using the nvidia gpu. I don’t know if it’s caused by bumblebee. Can you get the latest Xorg log from ~/.local/share/xorg/ or /var/log?

solved thank you very much.

Please explain what you did to solve the problem, for others.

that was about to do XD.

but here is the Xorg log

lspci
or
inxi -Fazy

should return something like this:

Device-1: Intel Haswell-ULT Integrated Graphics vendor: Dell driver: i915
v: kernel bus ID: 00:02.0 chip ID: 8086:0a16
  Device-2: NVIDIA GF117M [GeForce 610M/710M/810M/820M / GT
  620M/625M/630M/720M]
vendor: Dell driver: nvidia v: 390.132 bus ID: 03:00.0 chip ID: 10de:1140

These will help us to identify the bus that corresponds to our graphic card.
once we have it identified we go to the directory:

/etc/bumblebee/

we should be able to look at the xorg.conf.nvidia file

edit the file as root

In the “Device” section we enter for example the line:

BusID "PCI:3:0:0"

the identification number bus ID may vary depending on your equipment.

so I stay with me and it works:

One thing worth mentioning (copy paste from the link posted above):

" Observe that the format of lspci output is in HEX, while in xorg it is in decimals. So if the output of lspci is, for example, 0a:00.0 the BusID should be PCI:10:0:0 ."

This bite me, so heads up for the others!
