Building a manjaro usb-live drive need network driver for my laptop

How do I know if linux-firmware is all I need to make the network card work for my flash drive install?
What commands will I need to connect to my home wifi?

Hi @MAYBL8,

In the output of:

inxi --admin --network --filter --no-host --width

it should show you which drivers your network card use.

As for how to include them, if they’re not in the kernel:

:man_shrugging:

perhaps it can be included as an AUR package in the ISO profile.

this is what it returned:

[demo@manjaro ~]$ inxi --admin --network --filter --no-host --width
Network:
Device-1: Intel Comet Lake PCH-LP CNVi WiFi driver: iwlwifi v: kernel
    bus-ID: 00:14.3 chip-ID: 8086:02f0 class-ID: 0280

So it looks like it’s baked into the kernel and you’re good to go! So, and I don’t know how this works, but maybe then the linux-firmware package is all you need, yes.
