I have a xbox one wireless gamepad I use on steam that stopped working recently. Turns out I installed the new 5.9 kernel and that broke it.
In wireless mode it pairs OK by looking at the bluetooth menu, but steam nevers recognizes it. I’m using the xpadneo-dkms-git driver from AUR.
Even in wired mode it doesn’t work right. At first it works OK, but after a while it seems like it disconnects and connects again, as it stops working for a few seconds and I get a steam notification. Later it seems like it gets a storm of disconnections as it freezes the game for a minute.
When booting on the linux 5.8 kernel it works in both modes with no problems.
