[BUG] dmenu-majaro has empty line before shebang

  • What edition of Manjaro-ARM is installed? (eg minimal, server, etc.)
    i3

  • What package contains the bug?
    dmenu-manjaro

  • Describe the bug the best you can. What where you doing when the bug happened?
/usr/bin/dmenu_recency has an empty line before the shebang. This causes fish shell to not run the executable in bash as the shebang says.

This becomes a problem when using j4-dmenu-desktop in front of dmenu_recency because it uses the user's shell to execute dmenu_recency.

  • Any workarounds or known fixes?
Edit the file at /usr/bin/dmenu_recency and remove the empty line before the shebang.

Thanks.
Reported on the gitlab issue tracker for that package.
It's one of @oberon

Thanks. Fixed in dmenu-manjaro-4.9-3, @Strit can you please include in arm repo (uhm, or I guess it's automatically syncing, right?)?

Only if it is an arch=(any) package, which is not. So I have built and uploaded it now.
