I new to Manjaro Linux (previously used ubuntu based distros), After installation, I had to face issues -
Touchpad not working
Brightness control not working (not even control pop-up appears but on inactive the light dims as set in the settings.)
For the brightness part, I tried to change the parameter GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in etc/default/grub but to no avail.
Please help…

For the brightness part, I got a bit hacky and installed the xorg-xbacklight and then created 2 shortcuts on my F11 and F12 button with these two commands - xbacklight -dec 10 & xbacklight -inc 10 respectively.
