I’d send you the file from mine if there was a way of doing so on here. There may be somewhere to upload it but not something I’ve done in a long time. I lost access to my Dropbox account years ago as a result of losing my old email address (domain expired, forgot to renew).

Maybe boot a Live Session and copy it from there?

In live session it doesn’t work either and the file doesn’t exist in /sys/class/backlight

While BigLinux is based on Manjaro, BigLinux is not Manjaro. Each have their own customizations.
