Booting to Black Screen, do not have graphical interface for login

I’m having trouble getting into my computer. When I boot it up the screen remains black, and there is no graphical interface.

I am almost certain the issue is graphical, as if I wait a while, hit enter, type my password, and hit enter again I am able to get into my desktop environment, and it loads normally (or close to it, it loads to the lock screen, but I don’t have to enter the password again, I just hit enter and the desktop environment opens). I’m running plasma with wayland right now, and the only thing notable about my laptop is that it has a 3:2 aspect ratio (2256x1504 pixels, 596x397 millimeters).

On one instance I connected a second monitor with an HDMI chord, and the end of the boot output as well of the login screen was visible on the second monitor, but not the first. My laptop screen is listed as my primary display however.

I’ve been able to get into the BIOS once (it’s a little difficult without a display), and I disabled quick boot hoping that might fix things, but it did not. I’ve had issues getting into the BIOS since then to reenable it, and timing the login has gotten more difficult. I’ve tried other tricks like Ctrl+Alt+F2 but that has not produced anything. I also have not been able to select Manjaro from the GRUB menu, which I don’t remember if the grub menu is supposed to be displayed on boot or not.

Here are the specs for my system:

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1
Kernel Version: 6.11.11-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

Memory: 31.1 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® Graphics

System Version: A4

I’m willing to provide more information about my system if it helps fix the issue.

That would point to a hardware issue… (emphasise it’s a little difficult without a display)
