Boot Problem get message I don't understand

Just installed Manjaro, and did and update and rebooted. I am clueless. This is the message I get.
Mount New root: mount 2 system call fail structure needs cleaning
You are now being dropped into an emergency shell
Sh: can’t access tty: job control turned off
[rootfs ]#

I have not idea what this means. Thank you ahead of time for any help you can give me. This is on a dual boot laptop Dell Inspiron 14 5000 2 in1 AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.10 GHz

Hello @BGlaser99 and welcome

That means that the file system is broken and fsck could not easily repair it on boot time.
If it is spinning HDD, I would assume here badblocks, just where the partition is located. So rather a physical problem.

When i do a search on that, i can find a post, where someone fixed the hdd with a Manjaro live usb and running a hdd check with gparted.
Maybe it can fix your errors.
