Boost.Python error on XFCE Edition

I tried to install Manjaro XFCE Edition in my Virtual machine by downloading the ISO. Once the installation is in progress around 22% i get an error saying “Installation Failed”

Boost.Python error in job “unpackfs”.

Tried to download new copy & tried to install, still i get the same error.

Any suggestions?

Cannot install manjaro 16.06.1 xfce, Calamares v 2.2.3 boost.python error in job bootloader

Hi, i tried to install manjaro-xfce-16.06.1-x86_64.iso, from an usb stick to my old P4 computer. I told the calamares-installer to use the entire harddisk (delete the old linux) and configure it as "out of the box". But it hangs up at copying files from unpackfs at 27%, with no further output. regards LinuxFreak

Only a few thousand questions that you could have supplied answers to in your first post…here’s the first few off the top of somebody’s head…

• First, welcome to Manjaro Linux! We’ve been wondering where you were…
• Second, what ISO (DE, vers. number) did you download?
• Did you verify the download checksum?
• How did you burn the ISO? UNetbootin is not supported! Did you use ‘dd’? A Windows program? What?
• What is your hardware? (Hardware changes all the time, and once in a while a boot-parameter is all that is required.) PLEASE tell us everything about your computer hardware that you can!
• Tell us about your VirtualBox…Linux? Windows? What?
• Finally, have you ever booted or installed Linux before? If so, details please…

Am completely new to linux.

I use VMware Workstation Pro I mount the Manjaro KDE ISO using installer disc image file in VMware (not using any usb stick).

CPU: AMD FX8350
GPU ATI 7770 HD
8GB RAM DDR3
1TB HDD
Windows 10 Enterprise X64 OS

I tried a few time with the same ISO of

manjaro-kde-16.10.3-stable-x86_64
manjaro-xfce-16.10.3-stable-x86_64

and after few attempts i installed KDE successfully. Thank you for the help.
