Running BOINC, and the boincmgr says there is a newer version available. Just wondering if we can look forward to seeing an upgrade to that soon, since there is no arch or Manjaro download on the BOINC site.
Hi @xmanmonk,
I don’t know which version you have installed, but the version in the extra
repository is the same on all branches:
$ mbn info boinc -q | grep -Ev 'Name|Repository|Packager'
Branch : archlinux
Version : 8.0.2-2
Build Date : Thu 19 Sep 2024 21:52:25
Branch : unstable
Version : 8.0.2-2
Build Date : Thu 19 Sep 2024 21:52:25
Branch : testing
Version : 8.0.2-2
Build Date : Thu 19 Sep 2024 21:52:25
Branch : stable
Version : 8.0.2-2
Build Date : Thu 19 Sep 2024 21:52:25
So it will have to go through the usual chain once it reaches Arch Linux, which it hasn’t yet if this isn’t the latest version.
