After installing the Chinese (Simplified Chinese) Language Pack for Visual Studio Code, the code - oss requires me to restart. After I restart, the following window is displayed
Same here with german language 
PS: Now I am using vscodium (code oss without telemetry). It works.

codium does solve the language pack problem, but it introduces a new problem: clicking “show folder in new window” in RStudio will open codium instead of folders.
