Bluetooth scan doesn't show any device

Hello, I’ve recently bought the TBW-108UB network (wireless + bluetooth) adapter from Trendnet and installed the rtl8723bu driver to support it. The wifi works great and the bluetooth seems fine, but scanning for devices yield no result.
