Bluetooth devices not discovering

Hi there , I’m getting straight into the topic :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: ; As mentioned in the title manjaro ( single booted ) is not discovering bluetooth devices :slightly_smiling_face:. If i go to the device settings > Bluetooth and add a new device , its searching for a device forewer and not discovering my bluetooth headset or my android . I tried many ways out there in the internet to solve this but i didn’t found anything as a solution for this .

This is the inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width output

Hello I had the same issue with the same bluetooth adapter. Here is how I fixed it.

basically you have to clone it using:
git clone https://github.com/winterheart/broadcom-bt-firmware.git
Then cd broadcom-bt-firmware/brcm
Then sudo cp BCM43142A0-0a5c-216d.hcd /lib/firmware/brcm
Then reboot.

I tried a similiar method to this before posting this issue in forum. It didn’t work . But i tried this one and it’s a complete success.  . Thankyou very much for sharing this
