i am facing a problem download attached file using bluemail that i installed via snap package manager
The description of the problem isn’t very helpful as it is …
I never used snap packages.
I’d always prefer native packages - when they are available via AUR
sorry about bad description this is my first post
bluemail close without notice when i press “button save as” to save attached file and seem like authorization problem
if you start that program from a terminal
… if that’s easily possible with software installed from a snap …
then you’ll likely see some output in that terminal - which could be helpful
but, as I said:
I never used snaps
I don’t know what to tell you to give more helpful information.
Just that it’s not enough to be helpful in diagnosing your problem.
My approach would be:
delete the snap
install from AUR
try again …
this is the output when run it from terminal:
Gtk-Message: 23:09:01.315: Failed to load module “xapp-gtk3-module”
Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Failed: cannot find desktop file “/var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/bluemail_BlueMail.desktop”

[1] 21956 abort (core dumped) bluemail
… it seems to rely on things you might not have
(which shouldn’t be the case with a snap - that’s what they are for, among other things …)
but I don’t really know - never used a snap package
as I said:
I’d delete/uninstall the snap
and use the AUR package
pamac build bluemail
… for instance
i will try it thank for reply
… before trying to install anything from AUR
update your system, so it is current
things might fail otherwise
But I think pamac
will take care of that. Not sure.
it work as expected
as I expected?
good !
