Blender cloning git repo taking hours

I am installing Blender 2.79 (as I only have OpenGL 2.1). I downloaded 2.92 in past and then removed it as it didn’t worked. I clicked Build on a Blender 2.79 from Add/Remove Software AUR. It didn’t downloaded any dependencis as I think all of them were downloaded already, but then it already took hours showing this message, and there is no progress bar, it is just moving left and right.
