Black screen with moveable cursor on boot

Hi, I originally asked for help in a reddit post. Some other people have had the same problem but I haven’t found anything.

I can’t copy the post text because I’m on mobile.

Could anyone help? I currently don’t have access to installation media to fix it.

have you tried to boot on USB iso manjaro
and see journal log ?

I have already provided the relevant information in the reddit post, including the fact that I do not have installation media but do have terminal access using cntrl+alt+f2

I can not write the entire contents of journalctl because I don’t have access to this forum through the computer due to this issue. However, here is everything marked as an error in the logs that seems relevant:

Anyway, a lot of that pattern

Interestingly, Plasma Shell then core dumped. I had installed it to see if it was an I3 problem.

Then there was a bunch of reboots. In between them was a lot of "watchdog did not stop", "pam failed to release session", the gkr-pam error, and Bluetooth errors.

Then the log ended.```
