Black screen system crashes need help!

Hi i have a gpd winmax 2 and i love manjaro but it also my only linux option with proper support for the handheld. but i am having a problem, while i use the machine, specially on krita or blender wich is how i work even while using the magma drawing site, i get a black screen crash.
the screen is still turned on, but nothing is happening using Ctrl+Alt+F1/F2/F3 dosnt do anything when the crash happens, neither does closing it and opening it. it seems to be a graphical issue since it works perfectly otherwise.
i tried unckechink the “allow apps tp block compositing” but it did not work, i updated the bios, the os is up to date as far as i am aware im still a somewhat new user to linux, and other than these crashes where i have to hold the power butter till it turnes off, i have no issues and i love manjaro. changing the manjaro power usage (performance, balanced, saving) also did not help

i made this same post on r/manjaro and thanks to some help i changed the kernel 2 times, and i added 38gb of swapon as per the table for the 32gb of ram with hibernation. Neither yielded any results, im hoping i can fix this because otherwise ill have to use windows :frowning:

Sorry for the drive folder with the images but i cant seem to post this with the pics attatched since i just made the acc.
but thanks to another user on reddit i gave more info
ill leave the system info on the photos, i really dont know how to fix it :frowning:
thank you for any help and for reading!!!

Mod edit (scotty65): added command outputs from pastebin links

Update:

Quick update for anyone who might have the same problem, KDE is causing the crash i still dont know why but gnome plasma works fine on other distros, i had some trouble with bazzite with some other things but atleast i know the reason for the crash, ill miss manjaro though. :(.

Welcome to the Manjaro community @ErisKey

It can be difficult to diagnose an issue just from screenshots of text, however there is another way: upload the output of the various commands you ran to a public pastebin service, and then post the links provided here.

It is very easy to do (as long as your machine is connected to a network). You just need to add the following to the end of each command:

  | curl -F 'file=@-' https://0x0.st

So, for the inxi output:

inxi -zv8c0 | curl -F 'file=@-' https://0x0.st

You can then post the resulting URL in this thread.

If the forum will not allow you you to post a link, just enclose it in single backticks ` so that it will appear as preformatted text (code) rather than a URL.

The other commands you provided screenshots for would be:

kinfo | curl -F 'file=@-' https://0x0.st
systemctl list-unit-files --state enabled | curl -F 'file=@-' https://0x0.st
systemd-analyze | curl -F 'file=@-' https://0x0.st
systemd-analyze blame | curl -F 'file=@-' https://0x0.st

okay, thank you very much and i think i did it right here are the 4 results in order

You did, but you forgot the most important one:

inxi -zv8c0 | curl -F 'file=@-' https://0x0.st

Anyway, I’ve got a few spare minutes until I head off to dinner, so I’ll copy the output from the pastebin links across to this thread so that everything is on the one page.

Thank you and sorry for the mess :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for doing that so quickly - I’ve edited your initial post to include all of the pastebin outputs.

I’m not much of an expert in graphics/display issues (others here are much more knowledgeable), however the first thing I would suggest is that you try switching Plasma from an X11 session to a Wayland session, and see if things improve.

You can change your Plasma session from X11 to Wayland by selecting the session type at the login screen (Wayland is now KDE’s default for Plasma).

If you have set up autologin to skip the password screen, you can change to a Wayland session by opening System Settings → Colors & Themes → Login Screen (SDDM) → Behavior.

To see if your current session is running on X11 or Wayland, run the following command in a terminal:

echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

For those curious about how Wayland differs from X11:
