Hi i have a gpd winmax 2 and i love manjaro but it also my only linux option with proper support for the handheld. but i am having a problem, while i use the machine, specially on krita or blender wich is how i work even while using the magma drawing site, i get a black screen crash.
the screen is still turned on, but nothing is happening using Ctrl+Alt+F1/F2/F3 dosnt do anything when the crash happens, neither does closing it and opening it. it seems to be a graphical issue since it works perfectly otherwise.
i tried unckechink the “allow apps tp block compositing” but it did not work, i updated the bios, the os is up to date as far as i am aware im still a somewhat new user to linux, and other than these crashes where i have to hold the power butter till it turnes off, i have no issues and i love manjaro. changing the manjaro power usage (performance, balanced, saving) also did not help
i made this same post on r/manjaro and thanks to some help i changed the kernel 2 times, and i added 38gb of swapon as per the table for the 32gb of ram with hibernation. Neither yielded any results, im hoping i can fix this because otherwise ill have to use windows ![]()
Sorry for the drive folder with the images but i cant seem to post this with the pics attatched since i just made the acc.
but thanks to another user on reddit i gave more info
ill leave the system info on the photos, i really dont know how to fix it ![]()
thank you for any help and for reading!!!
