Black screen in blinking cursor after enabling optimus-manager

i installed optimus-manager and the nvidia-515 packages from aur and edited sddm.conf and enabled optimus-manager.service but after reboot i get a black screen with a blinking cursor. i can still switch between ttys though.

I also have an issue with optimus-manager after the last update.
I install it from the aur and it works.

thanks but version 1.4-3 isn’t solving the problem too. i will wait till it arrives in the official repositories.

this seems to be a nice fix if you don’t want to use nvidia at all - Latest update to optimus-manager broke my GUI - #4 by Kevin77
