when the computer was working I removed the mirrorlist and added the Brazilian mirrors from the manjaro website, could this be affecting this situation, or have we already removed and reset them?
try reseting your pacman mirrors:
sudo pacman-mirrors --country all --api --protocols all --set-branch stable && sudo pacman -Syyu
We did fix it yesterday. The problem was two-fold, first by some reason he had used the unstable branch so he could not update anything on stable. We did switch branch, force update downgrading the whole tree. This made the system bootable.
Later we removed some modules from the kernel which where stopping the boot process due to some racing condition. The system is now working.
