Black screen after typing password at startup

yes i removed it and this time it got stuck after typing the password.

i’ll try Wayland.don’t i need to download some extra packages for it and some other perquisites?

You could add in Grub:

nvidia_drm.modeset=1

were you not supposed to add it in the first place

I got a new nvidia error in journal after the update

I removed nvidia_drm.modeset and the error is gone.
