I installed not long ago windows on dual boot system and it corrupted manjaro boot.
For the meantime I installed a new Manjaro installation on a new disk and after using manjaro-chroot from the new installation on the old Manjaro installation, the old installation finally boots and I updated it using both pacman and pamac.
The only problem left is black screen after I boot the old manjaro installation probably because of nvidia drivers.
I tried using forum to find solution but no success.
I’m sure there is a simple solution because I don’t want to lose the old installation.

the last log is nvidia related, but its a normal log, no error, or warning…
enable early loading:
sudo nano etc/mkinitcpio.conf
and edit the modules section to look like this:
MODULES=(i915 nvidia nvidia_drm nvidia_uvm nvidia_modeset)
save it with ctrl+x
, press ‘y’, then enter and update it:
sudo mkinitcpio -P
reboot and test

I tried that and still I get black screen.
While building mkinitcpio I got errors related to what I added to MODULES:

There is another thing which is not all installed kernels appears on GRUB menu while GRUB menu lists kernels that doesn’t appear on installed kernels.
For example linux65 listed as installed but doesn’t appear on GRUB menu.
mhwd-kernel -li
Currently running: 6.5.3-1-MANJARO (linux65)
The following kernels are installed in your system:
* linux510
* linux61
* linux65

it didnt find the nvidia modules… reinstall the drivers; first remove them:
sudo mhwd -r pci video-nvidia
sudo mhwd -r pci video-linux
reinstall kernels:
sudo pacman -S linux510 linux61 linux65
install drivers back:
sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300
if no errors reboot and test…

Thank you for your patience.
I removed and reinstalled and still black screen.
I ran again this command to see if nvidia modules are there and they are:
sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300

you have there a lot of dead kernel remnants, so post output from:
ls /etc/mkinitcpio.d/*.preset
sudo ls /boot/initramfs-*
sudo ls /boot/vmlinuz-*
sudo ls /usr/lib/modules/*
now that nvidia modules are being loaded, provide again logs, maybe there will be something:
journalctl -b-1 -p4 --no-pager
also post output from:
pacman -Qm
and:
ls /etc/modprobe.d
find /etc/X11/ -name "*.conf"
