Black popup windows

Some popup windows show completely black. Both balloon messages when mousing over panel icons and dialogs, such as password entry in software update. When I hit F12, yakuake comes out fine, next time black. The behaviour seems random.

Another issue: manjaro hello no longer working. I restarted kde from terminal:

kquitapp5 plasmashell || killall plasmashell && kstart5 plasmashell

There are a lot of errors in that terminal, the one I get when clicking the “manjaro hello” icon is:

kf.service.services: KApplicationTrader: mimeType "x-scheme-handler/file" not found
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/manjaro-hello", line 7, in <module>
    import gi
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'gi'

All those troubles started after the update on 23 December. My KDE according to inxi is KDE Plasma v: 5.26.4 tk: Qt v: 5.15.7
Should I downgrade?

I solved the “manjaro hello” issue. I added conda initialisation code to ~/.zshrc. Apparently that file is sourced at login, so there is python version mismatch.

I advise you to roll back the update, but it is better to reinstall the operating system.
