RTL8723AE Wifi adapter not working

Hi everyone,

My wifi adapter started being unstable for two days.Here is the output:

State seems “down” as you can see. I have installed rtl8723ae AUR package but it didn’t help.

Any ideas?

Try ip link set wlp3s0 up

Sorry for the delay… You won’t believe but I am married and I was at honeymoon :slight_smile:

Anyway, when I apply:

sudo ip link set wlp3s0 up

Nothing happens.Why is that?

That’s what I was trying to tell. No output and nothing happens.

By the way, it started working again. But maybe it will stop tomorrow? It’s been like a spoiled child. İt works, than stops, works, stops…

I have a dual boot with Pop_OS right now. It’s no different there. Maybe my Wifi adapter broken? :frowning: How can I be sure of it?

Yes, it can be broken or the signal might be poor. Try to change the channel in the router.
