Authorization Manager failed on startup

I recently installed Manjaro. After turning my computer on, and choosing Manjaro in the dual boot options, it fails to load with 3 messages showing up on the screen-
[Failed] Failed to launch authorization manager
[Depend] Dependency failed for modem manager
[Failed] Failed to launch authorization manager
Following this, there is a completely black screen

Could you do me a favour though and add the output of ldd --version so that ne next person knows the minimum version to use… :wink:
