If I want to install or update any application from the manjaro terminal, it asks me for a password and when I enter the password, nothing appears in the terminal. So no matter what key I press on the keyboard, it does not appear in the terminal.

Passwords are by default completely hidden in the terminal, which is why you don’t see anything. This is perfectly normal.
