Audio output no longer functioning

A few updates ago, I lost my ability to use my microphone. Currently running, KDE Plasma. Kernel 5.14 on my Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen4.

I resolved that issue and today found my bluetooth headphones where choppy/static/not working. I messed with some files and the speakers are now not working/showing in the tray (speaker has red line through it).

What changes did you make to files?

speaker has red line through it

Have you checked audio settings to ensure speakers are not muted?

System data is showing 2 incompatible sound servers running

  Sound Server-3: PulseAudio v: 15.0 running: yes
  Sound Server-4: PipeWire v: 0.3.34 running: yes

Pipewire cannot support audio unless PulseAudio is removed and replaced, but it is likely to disrupt PulseAudio function

Use this command to stop, disable and mask Pipewire service and socket

systemctl --user disable --now pipewire.{socket, service} && systemctl --user mask pipewire.socket

Thanks for the support. I do not recall enabling pipewire. I was all over the place messing with files and following posts on various forums. I have learnt my lesson. I ended up just backing up my files and re-installing from scratch as the live usb played audio fine.
