When I start audacity on the terminal it wants to use libtiff.so.5 which is not provided by either libtiff or libtiff4. I wanted to report a bug but I couldn’t figure out how to do that.
There was another thread about this. The solution was that the system wasn’t updated fully and not rebooted.
However, this was not for arm.
Huh, no, actually the solution was removing (at least one) package from the AUR (Audacity broken - #14 by gamert).
I’ve temporarily solved this by installing libtiff5 from the AUR. I hope Manjaro ARM libtiff will provide the library in the future.
The issue is a library that Audacity depends on has not been rebuilt after the update to new libtiff.so.6, so the library still looks for .so.5 and can’t find it.
