ASUS ROG STRIX B860-G GAMING WIFI manjaro kde installation

Thanks linux-aarhus
Just did that

sudo hw-probe -all -upload
Probe for hardware ... Ok
Reading logs ... Ok
Uploaded to DB, Thank you!

Hi,

That helped the blacklisting part.
Only thing now is usb 3-14 device descriptor error 64

After consulting the archwiki

iommu=soft in GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=

could help.
Will give that a try.
Positive is that the system is starting with the rc1

From the few probes there is - it seems your system should be working

Hi @linux-aarhus
You are right the system is working however booting is slow due to
usb 3-14 device descriptor error 64
After a couple of four of these messages the system boots

Many links suggest that the device connected to the USB port - and triggering the error -110 - is power related.

Many internal devices may be connected to the universal serial bus (USB) thus it can be anything.

No one asked - but you are a long time user - I am speculating - why haven’t you provided the full inxi -ev8yc0 yet?

well i forgot that

Thank you

The -110 error code is power related - so I am thinking - the Hub-4 - that is an external hub - right ?

If yes - it may not be able to power you keyboard and mouse - so my suggestion is to attach the mouse and keyboard directly to the system - then reboot the system.

Hi,

Changed connections for keyboard and mouse at backside pc. Messages are gone and blacklisting in

/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-custom.conf

blacklist i915
blacklist mt7925e

Helped a lot.

Thanks for the input @linux-aarhus and @Molski
