Display freezes when typing occasionally

Sometimes when I type, applications freeze for the duration of the input. This does not happen consistently. Sometimes I am a long time without error, and other times this happens every few seconds. Also when I hold and press a key, rapid-fire is being cancelled after some time, like when scrolling in the terminal with the down key, I sometimes have to repress to keep going.

I’m also experiencing this and it’s extremely annoying. It started after installing a bunch of updates this month and didn’t happen once the months before. I’m also getting these freezes when moving the mouse cursor to a window edge for resizing.

EDIT: I have a separate partition with the current Manjaro KDE and it has the same issue after installing the october 2023 updates.

EDIT2: Happy to report that with the udpates from the November, the issue stopped from occuring on my systems.
