KDEnlive offers Appimages, so if you want an older version, that’d be the way to get it, but I’m not sure where you’d grab that.

If you’re using the pamac gui tool, having flatpaks check for and apply updates with the rest of your updates is a tick box in the settings.
I’ll let people who know more about whether that’s a good idea chime in if needed, I don’t tend to use that gui tool much but I just checked my updates there and I see some flatpaks listed .

I think Flatpaks are ok, but AUR is best unchecked.
An abbreviation is also good if you want an overall update command…
pamac upgrade && flatpak upgrade

Indeed, more than a “maybe” – videohelp.com is one of the great unsung heroes of the Internet, with old versions of many popular applications.
For the sake of comparison I just had a look at appimagehub.com which proudly presents kdenlive-20.08.1-x86_64.appimage (version 20.08.1) as the only download option.

If you add Flatpaks to Pamac, they will, and Flatpaks will be visible in the Pamac GUI
