Architect grub doesn't install

So got some errors regarding my boot partition would be no block device and some other fast text I couldn't read. I did everything as always. 500MiB ef00 formated. And I also got some errors on the menu where one can install additional stuff like bash-completion. It threw error about gksu and something else. Again just too fast for me.
Is there again something wrong with the Architect or am I stupid? I had to install Windows now because I had only an Architect and a Windows stick. I'm fed up right now. I used the xfce iso to install now.

Either the audio stuff or wireless stuff also closed with error if I remember right.

Gksu is removed from the repos, I'll remove it from the architect too, thank you for reporting!

Difficult to say without knowing the error. Did you check the log file? "not a block device" usually implies that it is a partitioning tool or a grub bug. You can also try refind to see if the issue is with grub.

The log file is to find on top firectory of the installed partition. /.m-a.log is its name.

It is grub.

@Chrysostomus @eugen-b So I did the s.a.m.e. stuff today I did yesterday and this time it went through without problems. At least no big ones. The wireless stuff quit with error.
What the ■■■■ man. I spent hours trying to figure this out and today it just works. I was pretty angry yesterday because of this so I didn't want to go through this again just for a log.
That error message isn't very enlightening tho. All I picked was ufw and bluez, like always. Why all of a sudden this now.

I know that feeling! But I came to the conclusion that I must have been done something differently. Maybe I learned something through the process and paid more attention to details which I overlooked during the first attempt. "One cannot enter the same river twice." said Heraklit.

nope. Again. Grub doesn't install. And gives no error in the log but while installing only some text that's too fast. I wanted to get rid of the obsolete second install and use the full ssd now. I'm now on the live iso. I'm working on this now again for several hours.

Last time I checked I was able to use refind. But that's not what I want!

Can you run the grub installation command manually so we can see the error message?

grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=manjaro --recheck

I gave up. I'm tired.. I'm using refind now. Next time I'm reinstalling I keep your post in mind. Thanks tho.
One time I could read something. It said something about I should check sdb because there was no grub something something on it. sdb is the install usb. Maybe it's because of the stick. So that's something that actually changed. On earlier installs I used an other usb stick. I'm going to try the old one next time.

I am not too familiar with Architect installations (not much success in the past, gave up and tired) but..

If you still want to use grub after the installation, when booted up (using refind is okay), then do the 2 [Additional UEFI Commands] in the first post.
