Is it normal for categories in the application launcher to open only when left-clicked, and not on hover? Can this be changed?

Mine open on hover (after opening the launcher); I’d sooner revert to clicking on the categories! This behaviour changed for me some time back when the Plasma options were moved about.
When I find where these settings have been moved to, I’ll be happy to assist!

Right-click the application menu button
Select “Configure Application Launcher”
There is a toggle labeled “Switch sidebar categories when hovering over them”
The default behavior was changed in Plasma 6.3
