If yes, after a long period, there would be much dust inside.
If no, it’s a good design.

Systems with fans to pull air through the system for cooling will accumulate dust inside over time.
It is and has always been good practise to clean your system using compressed air.
How often depends on your environment. Smoke and grease e.g. a smoker or located close to or in a room where food is prepared will call for cleaning on a more regular schedule.
Overheating caused by dust and fans greased with smoke and dust is a sure hardware killer.
