How to polish boot screen?

This is almost guaranteed to be the wrong place to post this, but I’m not sure where the correct place would be. Anyway, when Manjaro boots on my Thinkpad, the Lenovo logo pops up for a second, then it is cleared off the screen for a single line that says something to the tune of “Starting systemd-udev ”.

How do I stop that from happening and “quiet down” the boot process so the nice Lenovo logo just stays on the screen until sddm starts?

Thanks.

you dont have to do it all, all i had to make sure 1 + 6 was in place and that was it

Perfect, thank you!

Adding udev.log_level=3 did the trick
